Free range rude
Out shopping at the weekend, trollyfull of stuff ready to put on the checkout belt, guy & his brat behind with 2 items, so I let them go first....Not even a "thanks".....Ignorant baskets!!!
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!
Re: Free range rude
Those sort of people usually have problems in their lives, they can't be very happy souls. That happened to me in Asda the other day, I couldn't thank the lady enough as it was such a refreshing attitude!

Its just what some people are like these days. Iv grew up in a small village on Exmoor and can't believe the people I see in towns and how some of them act. Manners cost nothing and make the world a better place.

Re: Free range rude
you will always Encounter People like that but is such an attitude really so widespread?
When I came to live in a very small town, some 15 years ago, I got used to passing local people on the street who would always give a greeting. You know who the tourists from the "cities" are, because they are too shocked to reply.
