Sleeping in the hot weather

Post by burnham28 »

Anyone got some tips on how to keep cool sleeping in the night. Ive already undone the top button of my Winceyette pyjamas but hasn't made a lot of difference.

Are the jim-jams paisley pattern too? :)

Friend of mine is filling hot water bottles about 1/3 full with cold water and putting them in the freezer for a few hours before bedtime. Says her kids love them.

A decent fan helps, but they are a bit noisy. A friend swears by the new Dyson fan, but it's about £300!

I would think he'd steer well clear of that variety for a while! D ---- even if it meant getting wet.

I have two fans one is in the open window blowing the hot air out and the other is in another window pulling in the cool night air, basically just a cross draft.

I thought about dispensing of my pyjamas altogether and just wearing my thong but have just remembered I put it on two weeks ago and haven't seen it since.

Thongs! Be still my beating heart... as years pass they turn into bloomers, or at least comfortable knickers. According to the boss.
