Just learnt that Ted Connolly, editor of Classic van & Pick up has passed away. A fan of all things classic,he drove a Minor Saloon as an everyday driver. He also did much to promote classic vans and Pick ups in all forms and guises. A sad day for me.

Re: Sad News
Very sad, only today I was reading his monthly page in Car Mechanics, he's been writing for them for years.
Will miss his humour and goings-on.
Condolences to his family.

Re: Sad News
Not someone I am familiar with but the name rings a bell. It's a sad day when any decent person passes on and his credentials surely marked him out as that. At least he had Christmas; I always feel it's very bad luck to go before Christmas, not least as it can tend to put a blight on it, long term, for those left behind.
