Hi
I live in Ireland now and started drawing my uk pension in August and realized i might get an Xmas bonus . So was wondering what those of you who draw their pension do with the extra money , splurge on extra fancy present for yourself, go for a meal, put towards a break away . :D :D

Oh!!!! just looked up how much, 10Pounds. Better cancel the hotel then.

Where in Ireland do you live?
I moved from Limerick to Manchester back in the late 70's, I still have lots of family in the area and will be going back in January to say hello.

When you consider many pensioners don't get this bonus, £10 doesn't sound too bad. :D

Just have to wait and see if I get either of them, it will be near to Xmas before the money gets through
Have just splashed out on sandwich with the £10

I have posted this on may sites and it has helped many of my friends and family, It is a benefit calculator to help you make sure you are getting the correct benefits, It is not just for unemployed people it covers retired and workers as well, I am nothing to do with the site and it is independent not government run.

Interesting to know but I cancelled half way through, personally, too much info required from me for an internet site. Went back to check out something, and apparently used up my free access as an anonymous user. Needed to register, so declined. Hopefully it will prove useful to others.
