Breakers of Bread (Short period drama) - Car needed

Hello,

I'm currently producing a short period drama titled Breakers of Bread at Westminster Film School. The film is set during the mid-1950s and for one of the scenes, we need a classic car, preferably something bulkier to emulate as a taxi cab.

I had come across this forum and was wondering if any members would be interested and willing to lend us their car for one short evening. It'd be driven either by a licensed actor or themselves, of course depending on your comfortability. The shooting of this scene would take no longer than 2 to 3 hours in the evening of Monday 29th April 2019 and the location is at Harrow-on-the-Hill, London.

If this is something you might be able to help us out with or for further information, I'd appreciate it if you could get in touch soon.

Kind regards,
Tamannara Siddik

Not sure that a Minor would resemble a ‘50’s taxi!

Might be worth contacting the London Vintage Taxi Association.

www.lvta.co.uk (also on Facebook). They can probably help locate a period-correct Austin FX3 or Beardmore taxi.
