Got a bit more done yesterday painted the floor and inner wing green, weird how the camera makes the panels look like 3 different shades they are not.
Then I started to refit the suspension so I can turn the car round to sort the other side out.
Today I managed to get the car rolling again and out of the garage and turn around, I spent most of the day cleaning out the garage ready for a fresh start on the passenger side of the car next weekend.
New owner now the real work starts.

Re: New owner now the real work starts.
Started to look at the other side, I removed the sill cover and door to be greeted with more rust and holes.
Time to get the wire wheel on the grinder out, I am sure there will be plenty more rust waiting to be found.

Great work !! The " look what I've got to tackle next " photos will soon disappear. Keep on trucking.

I removed the left front wing yesterday and found what I was expecting the same as the right side more holes and rust waiting to be cut out and patched up.
To be fair the rust on mine is nothing compared to some of the projects that others have done.

A bit more progress this weekend most of the rot cut out, cleaned up and zinc primed. The panels are now on order ready for final trimming prepping and welding next weekend.
The boxing plate required a small repair to the front lower edge I thought of replacing it but decided a repair would be the better option.
Cheers Steve

Got myself a new toy for the garage, this should stop the wait for air when using air tools and speed up progress a little.

Finally got back in to the swing of things and closed up the inner wing. Just a repair to the bump stop area to finish off next weekend.
