Looks the mutts nuts mate, thoes rear wings and lights are cool. Should have been a factory option....!!!!!
Cant wait to see the finished thing. Rad and engine go in ok?

BETTER TO BURN OUT THAN FADE AWAY.
Re: Custom Pickup Restoration
Rad and engine went in fine thanks. Clutch cable still to connect and exhaust to build to get her properly running.
Here are a few pictures of my days work today....a bit of chrome, a bit of leather....makes all the difference.
Wooden deck is the plan.[frame][/frame][frame][/frame][frame][/frame][frame][/frame]

Re: Custom Pickup Restoration
Hi, I noticed that your seat back appears to be vertical. You may want to angle it slightly. I have a Golf rear seat in my pick up (still in re-build stage) and this initially went in vertically and even sitting in it for just a few minutes proved to be uncomfortable.
Cheers,
Doug D'G.

Re: Custom Pickup Restoration
Is this finished now? Are there more pics? I would have thought fitting a stepside bed on a morris would look wrong but this is perfect. So nicely done.

A few more electrical bits to do then it's interior time! August finish fingers crossed! Only taken nearly 5 years!

Re: Custom Pickup Restoration
Pick her up tomorrow...at last she's MOT'd and on the road! Thanks to Jimmy Hibberd and his Team at Valley Gas Speed Shop for all their hard work over the past few years....it's been fun! Thanks also to Jonathan Heap at JLH for getting me out of trouble with a spare Fiat Twin Cam too! Hope to be at Brooklands Austin weekend on 12th March for her first formal outing...fingers crossed!
