Re: Pick up Restoration Project !!!
Excellent progress. You can't do too much trial fitting of panels
I always think the vans and pick-ups look best in darker colours personally but the choice is yours of course. Minors have lovely lines and I think these are shown off best by darker colours?
The pagoda roof Mercedes is a beautiful and classic design. I see one locally quite frequently and always admire it. The owner has had it a long time. I hope owning it gives you great pleasure - they'll make a great pairing - style and practicality

Some of the older colours are quite nice, beige and the like but you're the guy who must live with it!

Dark colours can look nice, but will show bodywork imperfections a lot more than light ones and can be harder to keep looking clean. I also like the older beige and grey colours, but it is most important that you have the colour YOU want. I would suggest that you make sure you can see a pick up in the flesh in your chosen colour BEFORE making the final decision.

Re: Pick up Restoration Project !!!
I'd get my wife to choose. Delegate decisions relating to taste then it's not your fault !
Re: Pick up Restoration Project !!!
I sprayed mine almond green, it's not too good to match colour for touch ups, as being cellulose it can vary. If you are having it done professionally it will no doubt be 2 pack or something, and probably wear better.
