Hi everyone,
I have a 1956 Series 2 with the original 803 ohv engine which is undergoing a complete rebuild.
The current fuel pump (replacement by prior owner) is an SU AUA66. It has been suggested that my car should have an SU AUA25 pump.
Could anyone please inform me what the correct pump should be for my car? If it is not the AUA66 that is fitted, will it run ok with this pump? I'm running the original H1 carb by the way. I did call Burlen but the sales person was not sure..
Thanks very much in advance.
Mark

Re: Fuel Pump
Absolutely no problem at all to run the AUA66.
By the way, if there are any fuel leaks at the carb, it will be due to holes in the float, sticking float chamber valve (dirt), float bowl or jet seals, not the pump.

Re: Fuel Pump
I believe the only difference is the outlet spigot on the AUA25 which is threaded like the inlet union. The rest of the pump is identical.
