'Hamburger' our 1965 4 door

Post by ratrodmog »

So this is our first project as husband and wife (myself Ben, and my wife Tash). After the sale of my last car I couldn't stand not having a Minor but we weren't expecting to buy one on a day trip to Brooklands Museum! A few phone calls later and we have him. Bought from Julian at Brooklands, the car has been in his ownership for over 10 years and a regular face at many Morris shows. We plan on keeping him fairly original but with our own unique twist so we're giving him a Californian feel with period upgrades/accessories following the VW scene as inspiration.
So here he is the day we drove him the two hours back to Bournemouth! I even managed a quick test drive on the famous banked track!!!

Been working on the front suspension and managed to fit these lovely things. Dropped the front 1.5" and polybushed it.[frame]Image[/frame]
