My Traveller

Post by JOWETTJAVELIN »

Last year I was very happy when Irmsher Lee offered me a transitional car, I went to see it and was impressed, Lee is a great guy who knows his Minors. I have been working on it since, woodwork was good so it stripped it all and treated it, Curprinol 5 star preserver, 3 coats yacht varnish, new window channels whilst keeping it original as posible.
So late in summer 2018 it was finally ready to come out again, I have enjoyed using it and we've been to Wales in it, a great car I've enjoyed every minute of it though it took months ans months to strip it and get it right, but if a job's worth doing its worth doing properly. Very pleased with how it's come up, I was amazed at the finish. Off the road now for winter to save it but can't wait to drive it again in Spring.
