After reading the thread the garage owner did give up lots of contact details which the police are checking out. So with any luck the actual perpetrators will be executed. Lets hope the Minors go back to their original home too. A happy story.

Except for the garage owner - who presumably is out of pocket having bought the car 'in good faith'. Hopefully he got a receipt for it ! What's the odds, I wonder.

If a car is reported stolen the index number and chassis vin plate number should be reported to the DVLC, that should light up as a stolen motor vehicle to any prospective buyer, how on earth could this garage owner claim to have bought these smv's in good faith. lets hope he looses his business. I'd like to hear his name and company address on this thread.

I'd like to hear his name and company address on this thread.
I think that would break the message board T&C's. It's one thing to suggest that an unnamed individual / business is knowingly involved in dealing with stolen vehicles but another thing entirely to name them, particularly without knowing the full facts.
