1958 4 door saloon stolen

Post by SidPeach »

My grey old mog's been swiped.

Two weeks ago - during a weekend - from outside my house in Brixton.

Looking pretty much every one of its 51 years, it ran beautifully.

Hardly a boy racer's car jack dream.

All authorities informed - to no avail.

Suspect the poor old thing's been traded in for 30 quid and squashed to the size of a shoebox.

However - anyone see the numberplate 469 EAR - esp if its on a grey minor 1000 - please let me know.

I googled it & found that some urban snapper has put it on a flickr site

any help much appreciated

wish you all the luck in the world in getting your old mog back.

Do "Trackers" work on moggies? Pity the club couldn't park a dummy moggy with one of these fitted and get the bar stewards!

i notice many of you say when a car is stolen it's probably traded in for scrap, doesn't the scrap ayrd owner has to check everything's ok with the numbers and the car's not stolen?

Where are the parts from these cars turning up? Ebay? Is it time to start security marking components?
