I returned from a weekend in Sheringham, Norfolk to my home in Norwich yesterday to find to my amazement that the complete rear bumper, including overriders, spring blade and valance had been removed from my Mog and stolen?
Are parts being pinched to order now? Or am I the victim of an opportunist thief who happened to have the appropriate spanners and a can of Plus Gas in his pocket?

Re: Lock up your Nuts
my guess would be that someone has had a bump at the rear / reveresed into a wall and just nicked everything to fit to there car.
do you know of any other moggies close to you?

I do hope you're wrong, I would hate to think a fellow Moggie owner would do that to someone .my guess would be that someone has had a bump at the rear / reveresed into a wall and just nicked everything to fit to there car.

Will you be going to the National, as I have a spare rear bumper iron (bit that gives strength to the Chrome blade / valance). Bit rusty (surface) but you can have it for free (if you haven't bought replacements already that is?).
Regards,
Mike.

I've had a rear light stolen once.. not all Minor owners are above board!
Unfortunately thinking this can (on rare occasions) get people into trouble. You should always take care when buying or selling classic cars & parts.
