Been saying this for.ages!

Did mention compiling a "Database" noting EVERY detail of a Minor - at the very leasy it would make
think twice before pinching one!

Burying you head in the sand and assuming "it won't happen to me" isn't wise.

Theft of Minor's WILL increase!!

The Club office in Derby does hold a list of MMOC owners car's details, but this is only good if the member's inform the office in the first place (completing the section in the application form) and then of changes/additions to their fleet. Not many people do this.

Fit one of Roy's "secret switches" , removing the battery/earth lead whenever the vehicle is left?

Deter the Joyrider, possibly others?!

Even with the damage there will be a reasonable value in the salvage. Does his insurer allow him to retain the salvage when a car over 20 years old is written off?

I know some don't, but talking only as a customer I know RH specialist insurance do, and they are not expensive either.
