Dodgy Motors

Being asked to run "number" checks on Minors - both UK & Abroad - I occasionally encounter some that are obviously "duff" (usually picked up by either body or engine numbers, in some cases BOTH).

PLEASE - regardless of entering them onto database - record these numbers, and keep in a safe place.

Hi, I am looking at getting a traveller to restore the v5 is missing would it be difficult to get a new one in my name as i think the details of the old registration is no longer kept by dvla

First need to do an ID check - ensure the vehicle is genuine via body stamped chassis number - don't rely on the detachable chassis plate.

Depends if post 7/65, have to go by body number.

DVLA like detailed Certificates and pics.
