Dashpot oil?

Post by Chief »

Hi,
I'm currently rebuilding our carburettor, and was wondering as to which type of oil you can use in the dashpot?
I have a can of 3 in 1 that I could use, but is that okay for it or do you need to use a different type?
Thanks :)

3 in 1 - the Red can. Works Rally Minis used EP 90 gear oil - to try to stop the pistons jumping up and down on rough surfaces.
