This first manifested itself the last time I drove the car (last Thursday night) and reared its head when I tried to take the car to town today.
When the car is going, it goes well, but occaisionally misses - i.e a brief "jerk" sometimes its really noticable and almost as if the brakes have gone on, sometimes it just a brief lack of power.
When the car is stationary it starts, runs and keeps missing and stuttering and eventually stalls itself. I'm pretty certain that its not a fuelling issue (I've taken the top of the float chamber off, and there's plenty of fuel in there when its happening.
I would suggest that because it started happening at night that its not a vapourisation issue...
Any thoughts?
