Post by mollythemoggie »

Hi just wondering where the steering rack grease point to regrease my steering rack post boot replacement

Also what type of grease is used under the metal caps at the end of each wheel? Sorry I don't know the technical name for them!

Thank you

I use molly grease for everything - but LM2 is fine. Many will be along to point out that the rack is listed for EP90 oil in the handbook..... Grease is better - doesn't all run away into the boots. All later racks of exactly the same design are specified for grease lub. The grease point is under a wee plug in the floor - roughly where the LHD steering column would be........
