leaf spring help
hi, I put new bushings on rear springs, one side no problem, but the other I can't seem to get that center bolt to line up and fit into the bracket hole on the bottom of the axle. Any tips much appreciated. Thanks

Re: leaf spring help
Loosen the spring mountings at either end of the springs and push the springs inwards towards the centre of the car or outwards to allow the spring centre bolt to engage. You may have to push the axle forwards or backwards at the same time.
Having it all loose helps to engage the spring centre bolt. When engaged tighten everything up progressively. Not forgetting to let the car rest on its springs before the final tightening.
