Prop shaft
Hi I have got to do an oil leak from the gearbox where it joins the prop and wanted to know if there is enough room to get the prop off when you have undone from the diff. Haven't done this job before and have got to do it this weekend so any help would be great.

Re: Prop shaft
Yes, the front of the propshaft is on splines so it can be moved back and forth, I would mark the shaft
and flange so that it goes back the same way, (don't forget to drain the gearbox oil first !) good luck.

Re: Prop shaft
Yes unbolt the prop from the diff, drop the prop away and pull other end out of the gearbox tail. Oil will spill from the tail so put a bowl underneath. Oops, someone has posted whilst I was typing this reply!
