I did not experienced any detrimental side effects using super unleaded with a un-leaded head fitted to a Minor with a 1098cc engine that was doing approx. 800 miles a week.

That's good to hear, recently after switching off I have a very hot smell, nothing like I've had before

I found mine drove a lot better. Pulled better from low revs, didn't have any hesitation. Don't recall any hot smell, but I only put a few litres in. So will be interested in the replies as it probably doesn't go off like regular unleaded.

Now I have a "leaded" head, it has never been converted so same question from me I guess, has anyone had any issues?

I've not got unleaded conversion. My mileage is very low at around 900 a year. I've used normal unleaded, with additive and without it too. Currently running super unleaded for the first time without additive. Seems to run a little better and tackles the 1 in 8 hill at the end of my road fairly easily, which it never used to! Think it might be slightly more economical too, but too early to calculate accurately yet.

Wife's 65 traveller runs way better on super unleaded. Has unleaded head and we put additive in.
