Rear telescopic shock absorbers
My 1958 Minor had, at some point been modified with anti-tramp bars welded to the axle and telescopic shock absorbers vertically installed in the wheel arches. While rebuilding the car, I needed to replace these and found that ones now generally available are for inboard kits (thus avoiding any need for wheel spacers). For information, in case others have these older telescopic kits, I've successfully addressed the problem with a set of Suzuki Jimny rear shocks! They fitted perfectly and give a good ride.
