Pinion seal replacement Morris 1000
I was pleasantly surprised that ESM have not only the seal but the sleeve to cover the wear. No use replacing a pinion seal without it, if its grooved where the seal runs. I don't think crush spacers had been invented back then, at least I hope not as it makes it easier to retorque tighten the flange.

Re: Pinion seal replacement Morris 1000
Nice vids, thanks very much. Im amazed that the crush pinion bearing spacers have been around so long. Anyway replacing a diff pinion seal, is no big deal, as Ive done heaps, and try to keep the re tension sensible. I love all the tech bits, and Ive done a few diffs in my 60 odd years of mechanical. Remember the red lead? That was pretty standard back in my early days
