front panel

Post by minor 62 »

hi i have my minor going back together again after 2 replacement front wings,(second hand genuine wings) the inner wings were not touched at the front but the original front panel does not line up with the holes for the hockey sticks, is there a trick to replacing this panel, or am i just stupid, thanks in advance for your help, michael (minor 67)

You probably need to slacken everything -podger it into place including the hockey sticks, and then finally tighten everything up when it's all fitting reasonably.

If you pull or push the wing at a point above the wheel the holes at the front should, at some point, line up with the front panel. Doing this will also alter the gap between door and wing, so you need to watch that.
