Clip on Door Mirrors

Post by Tezm8 »

I have a 1960 morris I bought it only a couple of weeks ago the only thing is that it doesn't have any door mirrors fitted I don't want to start drilling in to the cars body but I want to be safe so I thought I would get some clip on ones I have not bought them yet and I know there not as good as fitted ones but it's what I want just for now anyway. The only thing is I don't know where they would clip on to the car can anyone advice me on this thank you :D

tom roy, sells a door mirror that fixes to the frame of the window, relatively simple job,and MUCH better than, clip on.Give them a ring,Not got them Myself, but in his reception he has some fixed to a window frame as a display ,looks realy good.I actually modified a clip on to fit it the same way,but required bending to fit.Not worth doing unless you allready have a clip on.

I have one on mine and it does the job well, it clips/ bolts onto the window frame without drilling any holes. The only gripe I have with it is that it is easily knocked and have to readjust it as it is on a balljoint knuckle.

Hello

I have one of these mirrors that I would like to fit - is there any chance of a close up photo to show where you have fixed it ? Thanks in advance !

was originally a clip on,onto the vertical window slider, but after seeing the tom roys ones, fitted in same place modded the clip on,need to bend the support slightly but works fine.no shake.
