Boot catch

Post by westy24 »

Hi all , I’m confused as to what boot catch I should have for my 1956 split screen ,
Is there more then one type and which is the one I need , I think there is one with a locator pin and one without ?.. and can anyone supply both the striker plate and catch?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

At least 3 different types, possibly 4.

Best is the last version with the pin. I'd imagine that they are easily found via the normal suppliers.

Later cars (inc yours) have the same bolt pattern so going for the late style with the pin will be best. Most secure against theft.
