Hi All.
I am new to the message board (also a new member of the MMOC) so please forgive any errors.
My first question is can anybody tell me if and where I can purchase the roll over frames that I see attached
to the front and rear brake drums/axle that allow a Morris traveller to be turned onto it's side which makes
it easier to weld the underside of the car (they look like half moon shapes with round plates welded on that bolt
to the drums.
My second question is if I cant find these are there any clever ways to turn car onto it's side without damage?
(the engine, gearbox, interior, glass, etc will be removed beforehand.

Many thanks in anticipation.
Keith.

The original Morris Minor roll over frame which was attached to the wheel hubs was made by Mr Grumpy. I am certain that they are no longer available new but do come up for sale sometimes but not that often. There are various commercial manufactures making roll over frames but not cheap.
For example:-

You can make your own from wood, plywood, scaffold pipe and two end stands.

Use the search facility to get some ideas. Type in roll over frame in the search box.

Enquire at your local Morris Minor Owners Club branch - they may have one they hire out.

I've seen people roll minors over onto old mattresses or tyres! Wouldn't be that brave myself!
