Awkward Screws

Post by pgp001 »

Just a little tip to pass on really.

I have just replaced the faulty speedometer on my Traveller, I had a right old job trying to find the two screws with the screwdriver to loosen it from the dashboard, I have limited access on the drivers side since fitting more gauges etc in the glove box cutout. So finding the philips screw heads has to be done by "feel" alone.

I replaced those two 2BA screws with some allen cap head ones, and it makes it much easier to locate them with a ball ended allen key.
