Windscreen rubber.

Post by scutter »

Folks,

Before I break a screen, is the clearance between the instrument bubble of the dash and the screen mounting lip normally this tight?

Is trimming needed?

Its a 1959 single screen.

Many Thanks Dan.

No trimming should be required but you don't have the correct rubber for a 1959 car.
You need to refit your wiper wheelboxes correctly as well
