Clutch and brake pedal stop plate

May I ask. Was there also a square stop plate fitted to the brake pedal as well as the clutch, where it contacts up under the floor in a series 2, or were they only on the clutch pedals? Thanks

my 55 s2 does not have any stops at all

Only on the clutch pedal was the plate and seal fitted.

The plate and seal was fitted on the clutch pedal as the clutch pedal is exposed to the elements so that wet and dirt may get in if the plate and seal were not there - whereas the brake pedal located in the chassis leg is not exposed to the elements.
