Drivers Side Glove Box

Post by alawrence10360 »

I have a 67 saloon which has a plate covering the aperture behind the steering wheel fitted with a rev counter and gauges
I would like to return in back to standard
Would it have had a door fitted ?

Nope they were open within a frame. You can get a door usually from a left hand drive car or someone who was making them out of glass fibre many moons ago, but both are as rare as hens teeth.

I can see from a search that this is a big subject
Unfortunately pictures that are tagged in don’t seem to be available

Back in the 'old days' people hosted their photos on sites like Photobucket which were free.
Then having built up a massive holding of photos, Photobucket became a paid service to get money out of all the people who were using them, hence the photos that are unavailable.

I can’t post the picture but if you look at the link, it will show you what your car should be like.
