convertible hood installation single handedly

Has anyone installed a convertible hood single handedly ? is it possible ?

Yup. Took nearly 2 days to get it exactly right.

Started by spending lots of time ensuring it was centralised. Light chalk marks. Once fitted tightly at the back I got it centralised at the front, pinned with staples and then refitted about 5mm shorter to ensure it was taught when in use. Front finisher was hard to get equal all round but looks soooo much better.

Did you heat up the canvas before stapling?
