Quarter light vent
I am contemplating taking out the glass in the quarter Light from its surround Esm do not supply the rubber gasket for refiting it in the frame what do we recommend
Re: Quarter light vent
Use some car inner tube or reuse the old one if you cant find a new replacement... use some waxoyle to lubricate whilst refitting NOT wash up liquid...

Re: Quarter light vent
I've been looking for pictures for when I did the same. Good glass fitted to stainless surround.
Rather than forcing solid rubber anywhere, I used tiger-seal/sikaflex/mirrormate type stuff. Much easier. If I can get the pictures across, you'll see them below. If doing the same again, I'd use a black rather than white gloop.
So, with a clean glass and surround, gunk up the groove, push in glass, clean back overspill while wet, a stanley blade and those industrial wet wipes work wonders. Voila made to measure rubber gasket.
Removing old glass
Repairing corroded spigot with Epoxy - since it's out anyway
The main event
Paint it black
Refitted
