Windscreen bottom corner repair.
Removed screen to find rot at corners. I will need to make repair section (s) to fit. It looks a bit tricky and fiddly, has anyone done this or has any advice on how to proceed? Thanks.

Re: Windscreen bottom corner repair.
Hi,
I had a quick look on my break but can't find a windscreen surround corner repair section anywhere.
I'm quite surprised someone doesn't make them, as it is a common rot spot. It looks like you will need to make up a repair section yourself, unless someone else on here knows a source and can post up a link.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Windscreen bottom corner repair.
That's what I love about this site, there's always someone who 'knows or has used'.
I shall add that site to my favourites. Good to see the 'J' type is covered by someone too.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Windscreen bottom corner repair.
Had a go at doing this repair , having to do it in sections because of the curve, but it is looking not too bad so far.
The last pic. is the offside which I have skimmed and primed. I reckon it is good enough as the windscreen surround will cover all of it..
Problem as always is finding decent metal to weld onto. The last pic. is the offside which I have skimmed and primed. I reckon it is good enough as the windscreen surround will cover all of it..
