Hi all a friend of min needs to determine the exact year of his MM it is highlight at the moment but he doesnt know if the wings are the originals and it was registered in MAlta in 1954 and for some reason even the date of manufacture is listed as 1954, I also have this problem with the traveller and the pick-up and the van, it seems that because Morris Minor were 2nd hand imports in Malta the year of manufacture was listed as the day then entered Malta, is there a way to determine the exact year? Thanks
P.S. how can I find what colour an MM came out with originally?

Hi i was reading Morris Minor A collector's guide and I saw that apparently no windscreen washers were on the list for deluxe until 1963 previously just leather interiors heater and overiders maybe that's why? and my 66 pick-up has them surely i dont think LCVs came out as deluxe? although the washers look very much original and in the exact correct place

I have slept a night, and came up with the answer as to why the pre-63 models don't have washers.
There are 5 holes in the dash for switches:
early model (as on my car) Wipers Choke Ignition Lights Starter
Later cars (post 63)Washer push thing, Wipers, Ignition/starter, Lights, Choke
Not sure if the latter is in the right order, as I have never owned a post 63 modern one
