Hm, don't know whether my Traveller is Deluxe or not - I've got washers, an internal passenger door lock, and I think I have overriders (if somebody can explain what they are to me, just to be certain I'm not thinking of anything else  ). But when I changed insurers just a few days ago, I was asked if my car was a Deluxe - other insurers may not be aware of the fact that there was even a Deluxe Minor! - and I said no, as I didn't know any better.

BTW, thankyou everyone who recommended a certain insurance company whose initials were FJ - I've just saved over two hundred quid on my insurance! :D

I don't think mine is a real Deluxe - theres no D in the serial number... Plus I have no internal parcel shelf under the dash, but I do have a passenger sun visor!

I was glad it wasnt a deluxe, as a previous minor I tried to insure couldnt find deluxe on their systems at all. It was a HUGE hassle! And yes, a certain insurer whose initials are FJ were really nice and really cheap :)

I think you have just lost the parcel shelf barry - over-riders = de-luxe.

yes, it would be. If you really want to be sure, call the Heritage trust centre in Gaydon, or pay them a visit. They have got all the cars on record there.

Apparently not if they were built at Adderley Park like mine was.

Short history of Adderley Park site, which built Travellers from July 1969 to April 1971 :-

I know that you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I am not sure you realize that what you read is not what I meant.

So no point trying to get any information from them about mine either then! So, Having a D in the chassis no means Deluxe does it?

Nobody has mentioned stainless steel door tops. I thought they were a deluxe item?
