Standard pressures for 5.00/5.20 crossply's was 24 psi. I guess most people run either 28 all round or 28/26psi these days. There is no official figure for 155's because they were never factory fitted, so, just experiment around 24 - 30 psi untill you find a setting that suits your comfort/driving style requirements. 35psi is definately way too high though.....

I use 30/32 psi normally, but do put them up to ~ 36 front and 40 rear if carrying a load.

I've been experimenting a bit, now the snow has gone at long last, and similar to Roy I find a 2psi differential front to back improves things a little I've settled for 28F/30R on really quite narrow treaded Toyo 155s. The difference in the actual contact patch width when compared to the previous Nankings was quite striking given they were the same size tyre

I have been running 155x14s at 24psi all round but I think that the sidewalls have too much flex so when the MM is back on the road I am going to try increasing the pressures a bit.
30psi was about right on my Traveller on 175x13s with two engines, a tool box and other bits and pieces in the back.
