weight

Post by King Kenny »

I want to regester my 1069 Traveller in France. One question I can not answer on the form is the maximum carrying capacity of the car. I have looked at all the manuals I have but can not find any referance. Any one have the answer?

Yes,
If you read through all this, I answered this question some time ago on the other site. If you need any of those documents let me know and I will gladly provide.

Just look at the original brochures for the Traveller - seemingly it can take a full family of 4 + several pieces of luggage+ dog + pram etc etc..... Just put that on the form ? The French will understand.......

The traveller should have a higher GVW than a saloon - it was given different rear springs for that purpose.
If it was me I'd use 1250kg in absence of anything better to use, just by adding 100kg for rear axle figures.
