Hi all,
I'm about to attempt fitting the rear quarter panels on my traveller. I have had a look at the instructions on the newton commercial website, and it appears as if I'm missing another timber batten.
They mention a timber support on the rear of the B post that the quarter panel should be screwed to.

here are their instructions http://www.newtoncomm.co.uk/documents/minor-wa694/
Can anyone shed any light on fitting these? and if I am actually missing the support?

Re: Help fitting traveller rear quarter panels
hi, on my 67 there is no batten running up and down the B pillar, which looks like from the diagram is maybe to hold the panel flat, so as in your picture my panel is screwed into the B pillar. so my opinion is you're ok

Re: Help fitting traveller rear quarter panels
Thanks, that's a big relief. I thought I would have to get out the jigsaw and make battens.
I just found my original panels, and they have no screw holes on them at all. They must have just been pushed in place.
On yours do the screws go through the panel, then though the aluminium panel and into the b post? And how many screws are there?
Cheers
