CONVERTABLE ROOF MAINTENANCE

Hi all

For the 1st time a few weeks ago I cleaned my CONVERTABLE roof....should I reproof it and if so what with....as its out in the rain today I see a few damp spots on the inside...any help in the right direction would be good

It depends on what type of material it's made from if like mine it's vinyl then just car shampoo and water is fine but I'm not sure what to use to "proof "it if it's mohair or double duck!

Would Fabsil or Nikwax do the trick?

Mine is material...I do have some nikwax but am not sure if it has to be uv protectant....

i am not sure what you mean by material, as vinyl is a material.. assuming you mean it is either double duck or mohair i use "Renovo" water proofer on my modern convertible which lives outside all the time and i am very happy with the results and do it every two years or so.
