What's the best way to fit these and are the 2 door different to the 4 door.

I think they are all the same. Fit them by easing them into the metal channel as you work your way around. Don't know of another way.

I fitted mine to my 4 door, its not too difficult and I think they are a universal size but stand to be corrected, one tip would be don't do this with the car parked on a gravel path, I did and dropped one of the quarter light securing screws and spent a happy half hour searching for it ! I spread a tarpaulin sheet on the ground when I did the other side,
I found once you have removed the trim screws from the frame fully open the quarter light and remove the securing screw, carefully lift this out and place somewhere safe, then its just a matter of removing the old rubber, you may have to prise it out a little, check the condition of the metal exposed, I did some in situ rustproofing and cleaned it up as best I could and fit the new rubber inch by inch into the channel , its more fiddly than difficult -Good luck !
