As the springs and foam on my porcelain green rear seat base are way beyond their best I am looking for a replacement. Now I have located a 1962-64 red duotone seat base for a reasonable price. The internals seem OK plus the springs look to be in better condition than mine.
My question. Would a 1962-64 seat base fit my 1966 Minor 2-door saloon, or are they different in size.
I am not too worried about the color as I plan to change over the seat cover to match my own porcelain green interior anyway.
Thanks for your help.

I believe the earlier duotone seats have a higher back than the later ones. It should still fit but it will look different and you will need to consider changing rear seat belt mounts if you have them
