Hi all.
Apologies if this is in the wrong section & I did have a search first but couldn't really find anything to answer the question.
Are there any coolant hoses available for the minor that aren't rubbish & where can I buy them?
In the 4 years I've had my Morris I've already replaced the coolant hoses twice & the other day I noticed tiny drops of coolant already leaking through my top hose again, this one is a "wrapped effect" silicone hose. Is there anything better?
Thanks.

Use the original type rubber/fabric hoses with the correct size stainless steel jubilee clips.
I would not use silicon hoses unless they were or a known quality.

Avoid the Kevlar reinforced hoses, they are rubbish. I doubt that you will find proper original rubber hoses now. I purchased silicone hoses from here http://www.classicsiliconehoses.com/ a good few years ago and have had many thousands of miles completely trouble free. Not the cheapest, but very helpful and good quality. Make sure you use the correct clips with rounded edges for silicone hoses, standard clips will cut into and split silicone.

i have had the std esm hoses on my car for 5 years and no problems at all

I wrap PTFE plumbing tape around some connections then push on the hose as some castings are not very smooth.
This always works for me if the hoses are in good condition.
