1963 traveller with no jacking points

Hi again folks. Can I pick your brains again please? My recently acquired 1963 traveller has no jacking points. Underneath is is in great condition . No sign of rusted out jacking points. Is it possible they were never fitted? Can I retro fit them anyway and if so where are they positioned? Reading a thread on here suggests "don't bother" If that is the case, do I just carry a scissors jack in the car?
Thanks in advance.

I have jacking points on my Traveller but I never use them. I carry a scissor jack with two pieces of angle iron welded onto the top so it slots on the cross member.

They all had jacking points when new, but they are rust traps and pretty much useless. Consequently many have been disposed of over the years.
Mine have a rubber plug fitted, I take the plugs off annually and blast the inside with waxoyl, then put the plugs back on...yes, they are that useful!

By the way, a 1936 Traveller is a unique beast! :D

It is a time traveller

Leave the jacking points off - as above rust traps.

Only need them for concourse or if you are an originality fanatic.
