The rear seats back cushion is held to the body by two wing bolts that are accessible through the boot, that’s the bit we all know.
In the past, someone has replaced said wing bolts with a standard bolt and cross-threaded one of them on my car. In trying to undo it, the head snapped off. So, I would like to know what the tread size is so I can drill out the broken bolt and retread it.
Any ideas?
That may be a very long and roundabout way of asking and certainly not the correct names, but hopefully it makes sense to someone, but I’ve included a picture of what I am after.

On mine they are 1/4 BSF, but I can't guarantee that they were the same on all cars. Hopefully a few others will chip in and we'll get a consensus.

Mine were originally, but replaced with similar metric ones when restored. Unless you are into Concours it probably doesn’t matter.

Definitely not into concourse, I like mine rough and ready
I’ll drill it out and rethread it with a metric one and put a yellow dot on it so I know which bolt is for which

I maybe wrong ...but...aren't they screwed into metal , for want of a better word , " butterfly " fittings pressed into the board?
If so, I have some and can measure the thread..
John ;-)

That’s what I was thinking, they must have one of those nuts with spikes on that has been pressed into the actual sheet of wooden backing.
If you’re able to measure the thread for one of those, I’ll commence the hunt for one.
