2012 MOT-UK Shropshire

With an article on last years event being published in the Nov/Dec issue of Minor Matters, the time has come to start organising the 2012 MOT-UK, which will run from 7th - 14th July and will be located in Shropshire.

Potential numbers are required now to enable us to book a suitable campsite etc, and so early registering of interest is vital if you are to avoid disappointment. If you are interested in taking part, please send me an email or pm with your email address as soon as possible. All registrations will receive a reply, so if you don't receive a reply, unfortunately we have not received your PM/email.

Please note that this registration does not guarantee you a place, it only registers your interest. Once potential numbers are known, booking forms will be sent out, and places will then be allocated once the forms have been fully completed and returned to us by post. As last year this will be on a first come first served basis.

The response so far has been very good, and so it is hoped that we can organise a suitable campsite early next month. If you are still interested, but have not yet registered, please do so as soon as possible, last year there were a few that unfortunately missed the boat.

Following a recce yesterday, earlier than expected, we are pleased to be able to say that a suitable campsite for next years event has been found. In view of this, we ask that anyone interested should notify us at the very latest by Monday 14th November.

Booking forms will soon be sent out to all those that have already registered their interest, and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis once these have been fully completed and returned to us by post.

I am coming over from Ireland ( not in a Minor though ) and I see there is a M6 toll road that by-passes Birmingham is this a good alternative to the old M6 eg less traffic conjestion etc
