2 cars free, if you can take them away

Hi Everyone,
I have just joined the forum as I have to clear a property and there are 2 cars on a drive that have sat there for 40 years , a Morris 1000 and a traveller, They are located in chiswick, west London and if anyone can remove them, they are welcome to them. They are in bad condition and would probably need lifting over a 4ft garden wall to get them out, they have been covered with tarpaulin all the time, but this has given little protection against the elements. If anyone is interested, please reply.

Do you have any photographs?

Hi, yes I do have some photos, they are not very good as it was difficult to remove the tarpaulin. The timber on the traveller has almost completely disappeared, but I am sure there are still a lot of servicable parts.

I have tried adding more photos but is says the file is too large. If anyone is interested, I can email pictures.

"...need to be removed over a 4ft garden wall" - shades of the Field Gun competition in the old Royal Tournament !

Thank you for offering the cars up. If there are no takers you might be surprised what they reach if you put them on ebay.

I just notice the registration mark on that car - it has been in London all its life - YV is London issued.

Thanks for the info, I will be happy if someone is just willing to take them. There is also an austin A60 estate (in really bad condition) and a ford pilot, which looks like it could be saved. but they are not free if anyone knows anyone who might be interested in them.

That is weird.
Im afraid the time is running out for these vehicles, the house has to be cleared soon and they are in the way.
If there's no interest by October the 8th, Ive been instructed to call the scrap yard to take them away. If anyone knows someone who might be interested, please let them know.
Regards
Phil.

It'll probably cost you to have a scrappy take them.
List them on ebay.
People here have had nearly 2 weeks to contact you... List them soonest with no reserve and you'll get some takers without a doubt.

I wish I had the room, I'd have them.

Thanks for the advise. I think if there are no takers by friday I might do a 7 day auction on them. My other option is to let someone come and strip them for parts, then get the shells lifted.
Basil looks lovely.

Hi, I sent you a PM last week sir. No reply so far, so thought that they had gone.
The gist of it was that although I have transport, I would need assistance for lifting above fence/hedge?

Hi, They are still there, but I have been instructed to call the scrap man to remove them, so if your interested, let me know asap. I have been told by someone who came to view them that they are in very bad condition and it will be difficult to get them out of the garden. might be an all day job.
