Moggy in America

Post by jackkelleher »

Just checking out the USA ebay, found this car...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1963-Min ... dZViewItem
Nicely battered, they say it's '63 but it looks like an early 1000, mid-50s or so... Should they be corrected? The car looks in a but of a mess, tempted to try and save it... :-?

It may nor be be far out as it has the later larger rear window and although it has clap hands wipers they were still available until 1962 so it may not be a bad guess by the seller.

I live about 2 miles from it. I could check it out if anyone is interested. I also have a spare Nissan A14 motor with 5 speed trans in my garage. I just might need a new project!

Yes, that's the latest toy. No moggy or Kit Car out here but it's tons easier to get a bike licence & insurance etc is very cheap in comparison too so....

It had one owner from new who bought it in 1981 & now me :)

It's in pretty good condition really & seems to be pretty reliable so far although I've had some bits & pieces to do on it.
