Website Rally UPDATE
I can't actually arrange a web site rally because I'm not currently a member of the MMOC
BUT...
On the 8th of May there is a car show near me so I'm not really arranging it!!
Last year my son and I went to a classic car show the weekend of the Turkish GP and showed the car in the morning then watched the Grand Prix on a big screen while we were served a roast Sunday lunch in the restaurant. It was a very agreeable day.
Well this year it's has been arranged for MAY 8th here is a link to the SHOW and another to some pics from LAST YEAR.
If a member wants to arrange a camping night for the night before there is a little camp site down the road owned by the guy who sprayed my 4 door. It's only about 200metres down the road from the show. I'd gladly help out with the organisation
So that's my proposal - camp if you want Saturday 7th May followed on Sunday the 8th by the classic car show and a club lunch (£7.95 a head for roast beef/pork/lamb) with a big table while we watch the Grand Prix over a drink. Finally a last look at the cars before departing.
Any one interested??

Re: Website Rally
This looks like good news to me, is there a deadline for us to secure a group booking?
Cheers,
Paul.

Re: Website Rally
Hi Roger,
Great idea - My minor needs an excuse to stretch its legs...
If we make a group booking I'm happy for it to be in my name to be 'official' - however if there's a club member who has a bit of spare time to help that would be great too.
The Lavendon MM should be there too ;-)

Re: Website Rally
We need a few more if it's going to be a good day out.
If not we will have to have a small select gathering!

Re: Website Rally
Of course you can Katie.
Everyone is welcome you don't even need to be in a Morris Minor.

Re: Website Rally
Update
I've been in touch with the organisers and arranged a parking space for the Morris Minors and booked a table provisionally for ten.
But we will need to get it sorted in the next week or so.

Re: Website Rally UPDATE
Hi everyone
I've sent a PM to the people who expressed an interest.
Looks like about 10 people and half a dozen cars
there is still time if anyone else wants to join us.
I spoke to Pete the campsite man he is more than happy to accommodate people let me know if you want to camp.
regards
Roger

Re: Website Rally UPDATE
When's the latest you need confirmation. Bumped into ASL642 the other day and she reminded me about it!
Is it too late to add me, and possibly my girlfriend too?
